Gravel grinding

Gravel grinding is becoming more and more popular these days. The big cycling brands also noticed that and they’re all trying to get a piece of the pie. They’ve come up with different kind of bikes, but all called gravel bikes. Which results in, sometimes heated, discussions about what defines a gravel bike. Some say it’s about the geometry, while others say it’s not much different from a cyclocross bike.

Well, let me tell you one thing: it doesn’t matter if you are riding a fancy Open U.P., a hardcore cyclocross bike or a old steel road frame with a little extra tyre clearance. Gravel grinding is about having the freedom to take the high road, and every sideway you come across, and not being stopped by unpaved roads.

So get out there on the bike that suits you best and enjoy the gravel 😉
